Here at Fuddyduddy furniture we source local quality solid wood vintage and antique pieces that just need a little love and magic to give them whole new life in a modern home. Each piece that comes into the workshop begins its refurbishment with a complete check over for any damage or repairs, is thoroughly cleaned inside and out and a design plan made. Then the hardware is removed, the piece is stripped down, sanded, primed, painted, any artwork completed, and finally all pieces are top coated to ensure your new piece is protected and can stay looking fabulous for years to come.
 

I am always so excited to find pieces with history and quality craftsmanship, especially if it’s antique or handmade. I usually have a vision straight away for how it could look and can’t wait to set about refurbishing and bringing the piece back to life, picking out the best features to create something beautiful and unique that would look gorgeous in any home. I am truly inspired imagining that piece having a home for decades to come, perhaps even becoming a family multi generational piece, passed down and treasured by future generations. I consider myself very lucky to really love what I do.
